Been throwing the idea around for months now and I finally got the guts to get a tablet.

Man I'm glad I did! I've only had a couple hours to mess around with it (didn't take much time at all to get used to), but it is infinitely better than using a mouse (except for precision stuff that requires selecting a certain pixel or something) to illustrate on the computer.

The first colored-via-tablet work that I will be submitting will be this funny little self-portrait that I did as a supplement to a tag that I did today.

omg that reminds me of the contest for maplestory or whatever it's called. yeah i don't play it ^^; but my friend who does told me that there's this contest where you can design some kinda pet and if your entry wins then you win a tablet!! :faint:

The REAL prize would be a tablet-style laptop, where you can just "draw" on the screen. However, I don't happen to want to spend $2000+ right now, and the tablet was only 8800yen ($88).
